Product Description
The CaliBowl was designed in California and born in the surf! It's a bowl that has a patent pending revolutionary lip around the top. It's designed at an angle which pushes food onto your utensil avoiding any spillage and overflows. Like a wave in the ocean the lip pitches the food onto your desired utensil/chip or any eating medium. Whether its chips & salsa or any other type of food the versatility of the CaliBowl lends itself to endless applications. As the contents are forced to the side of the CaliBowl, the enhancement causes a gradual wave like recirculation back toward the CaliBowl’s center obtaining a no spill result. Whether you are using a chip, a spoon, chop sticks, your hand, or any other utensil the CaliBowl not only prevents the contents from spilling, but effortlessly guides the contents back toward the utensil making eating, mixing, feeding, cooking, whipping, and scooping more fun and exciting! The CaliBowl Santa Cruz Stack consists of 2 green plastic 5 cup serving bowls with the CaliBowl no-spill lip. Use at the table for serving food or as a working bowl in the kitchen. The bowls are made of food grade Polypropylene, making them exceptionally durable and shatterproof, and feature a non skid base. They are microwavable and top rack dishwasher safe and the sleek design makes for easy cleaning. They are BPA free and manufactured using partially recycled material.

"These bowls really are spill proof!" 2010-09-08
By autumbaby44 (Eugene, OR)
I got these bowls on a lightening deal a few weeks ago. I have used them for a dip bowl while eating chips. The dip does not spill out as I am scooping the chip up the side...I would be interested in more of these in a bigger size.

"LOVE THEM!!!" 2010-05-25
By nyhappymomma (New York, NY)
I totally agree w/ the reviews that have been written so far. Can't say enough about these bowls! While searching for a BPA-free, microwaveable dishware for my kids, I came across these CaliBowls. Can it be true? Safe, durable, fun, easy to use - all in one product? I couldn't believe it but yes it is...My kids love eating out of these fun-colored bowls - and I can use them every day because they are BPA-free. Bonus - they have grippy bottoms so it's even less messier at meal time! The special design keeps food on the spoons (no more messy fingers!) and the bowls don't shift around as much - less mess means less work for moms. What more can you ask for?

"Family's Favorite" 2010-05-22

I have several of these bowls. My children don't want to use any other bowls for ice cream, cereal, soup and more! I had a family party recently and used them Guests are ordering these now! Well worth the price! You'll love them too!

"Sturdy and attractive" 2010-05-04
By Lisa Rowe (Coppell, TX)
I looked a long time for good, dishwasher and microwave safe bowls for soup and stew. I like a larger bowl, so I don't have to fill it to the brim, and these bowls fit that perfectly. They're labelled "5 cup" but really hold a little over 4 cups, which still leaves plenty of room for a couple of cups of soup. The yellow is a bit more gold in real life, and this blue is less baby blue, and more of an aqua, but they're both attractive. The rubber on the bottom means they don't slide around, and the thickness will pleasantly surprise you. You might think "these are a little expensive for plastic bowls," but the the quality is really worth it.

"Pricey -- that's okay." 2010-03-02
By Scott A. Ross (Eden Prairie, MN)
Yup, these bowls are a little pricey. But, if you are tired of bowls that get so dang hot when you put them in the microwave and you can't pick them up.... you'll pay. And the special edge of these bowls, it does keep the food in, like when you microwave oatmeal. and there is a rubbery lip on the bottom of this bowl too -- keeps it from sliding and moving when you put it down. They clean great, in the dishwasher or by hand. They are durable. And the color goes with my other dishes. Love 'em. Delivery was quick. We'll get more.
