We were very disappointed in these salad bowls. They feel as if they're plastic not wood and are so sealed that you don't get any of the positives of a wooden salad bowl. I wish I'd sent them back but the box disappeared.

These salad bowls are beautiful, but they are not dishwasher safe. This is not very practical for a working mother of 2, so they are now stored and only used on special occasions.

These are really slick looking. You need to wash them a few times to get the "stain" smell off, but they are really nice looking!!! Putting them in the microwave will kill these though. That wasn't obvious to me initially, and I ruined 1 of the bowls.
