Product Description
Understated and sophisticated, the SHADOW IRIS collection depicts tall wisps of purple irises that add a subtle, Eastern-inspired element to any table setting
Amazon.com Review
Tall, graceful irises bloom atop long, wispy green stems in the Shadow Iris collection from Corelle. Simple and gorgeous, the pattern includes highly useful pieces such as this set of three bowls with air-tight, plastic lids. The set's durable enamel-on-steel construction is made for everyday use and allows for service on the table to immediate storage in the refrigerator. The bowl set comes with three handy sizes for storing leftovers: 3/4 quart, 1-1/2 quart, and 1-3/4 quart. Coordinate these bowls with other available items in the Shadow Iris pattern for a complete set, or use them on their own. To best care for the bowls, handwashing is recommended. Corelle warrants the set for one year against damage and defects. --Betsy Herring

I bought this product for my mom.She has the coordinating dinner set with the big bowls, plates and mugs but complains that they are heavy to use. She loved them. But they cannot be used in microwave or dishwasher also I guess if I remember well (my mom stays in India and prefers not to microwave).Other than the 2 hindrances,I would recommend it to anyone who would want to use this store stuff or as serving bowls for everyday use. Of course, they are very light and easy on hands while using.

Love these bowls, very pretty and coordinate with the rest of my Shadow Iris set. Wish I could use it in the mircowave, but other than that very nice for cold storage. Lids seal nicely.

This is a very beautiful and functional bowl set. I use it for storing leftovers in the refrigerator. It would be nice if there were also smaller sizes.

I thought these would be great-bowls with lids. I never read anywhere that they were metal. I would of prefered glass corelle instead of metal. Otherwise, they are nice to store leftovers in.

The bowls are very pretty and go well with the rest of the dishes in this series. My bowls are less than a year old, and have already begun chipping - large chips from the bottom, leaving black spots. The chips don't affect the purpose of the bowls, but definitely affect the look. Also, although I know these should not be placed in the dishwasher, I find myself wishing they could be.
